Cooking for Under Twelves
Friday 19 March 2004, by
Wednesday lunchtime, I stood up and left my keyboard and screen to wander down and out into a glorious spring sun filled day.
Expecting to have a light lunch of salad, cheese and so forth I was pleasantly surprised by Alexandra, my youngest daughter, asking me to taste her cooking....... mmmm Chicken Tikka with some finely sliced and spiced potatoes as a side dish.
It was delicious!! "I cooked that" she said and of course she had.
Apres le Deluge in Pezenas is doing cookery courses for 6 - 12 year olds and the results are excellent. The prices are quite high because you are paying for the raw materials, but when you collect your child she comes out with the finished goods!
The children have fun and learn useful skills, and we get to taste all sorts of delicacies.
Click here to visit the restaurant’s web page with five course details and contact information.

Hello there,
Do the children need to speak good French to take the courses?
best,
