It was a very successful first double screening weekend for PECC - thanks to all of you who came to the 2 sessions. The feedback I have received suggests most enjoyed the timely and thought provoking film ‘Good Night, and Good Luck’.

PECC now screens twice a month!
24 January 2006, by Sarah RidoutFittingly our first film to be screened twice will be the acclaimed 2nd directorial effort by George Clooney ‘Good Night, and Good Luck’ will screen for PECC on Friday 10 Feb @20H45 and Sunday 12 Feb @17H.
Unfortunately due to distributor insistence the Cinema is using our regular time slot of the first Friday in February for another movie.
Please remember in March we will go back to our regular *1st weekend* of the month slots.

Woody Allen’s ‘Match Point’ first PECC of 2006!
20 December 2005, by Sarah Ridout’Match Point’ stars Scarlett Johansson, Jonathon Rhys-Meyers and Emily Mortimer and is the first film Allen has directed in London.
In his recent interview with Allen in ‘Vanity Fair’ Hollywood insider / historian Peter Biskind reflected on Allen’s 35 movies and thought ‘Match Point’ was worthy of inclusion in the 10 best ever Woody Allen movies (he included ‘Manhattan’, ‘Annie Hall’, ‘Broadway Danny Rose’, and ‘Husbands and Wives’).
